I. Introduction of Supersonic Twin wire arc spraying machine Arc Spray Equipment SX-600

Supersonic arc spraying is to send two wire metal spraying materials into two conductive nozzles in the arc spray gun, which are respectively connected with the poles of high current and low voltage. It generated an arc when the wires contact with each other due to the short circuit, and the temperature can be over 5000℃ during this reaction. The high temperature makes the wire melt, and it’s atomized by a very high speed compressed airflow (about twice the speed of sound) as a micro droplet. The micro droplet is shot to the workpiece surface by the compressed air flow in a supersonic speed (400m/s), and form an arc spraying coating on the surface. Compared to ordinary arc spraying coating, the supersonic arc spraying coating is with finer coating structure, denser coating structure and better adhesion strength.
